Monthly Meetings
The May meeting was a talk by Roger Grier entitled ‘My Way’. His way was unusual as he grows his orchids in stone chippings which is a new way to me. It seems to work as he brought along some of his plants which he had been growing for quite a few years. I haven’t got a greenhouse so am not sure if it works inside a house. It did seem to help with rotting problems.
Our next meeting on 17th June is a Vanda Workshop by Stephen Taylor. Don’t forget to check your cupboards for raffle prizes as proceeds go to the club funds.
There is no meeting in July.
The meeting on August 19th is the Summer Garden Party at Stephen and Ursula’s garden, which is lovely, and in Kingsclere. The cost will be £5 per ticket. There will not be a raffle. More details later.
